PADI MSDT and Specialty Instructor Courses

I teach PADI specialties to share my vision of diving...

hawksbill turtle juvenileWe all get into diving because there is something special in the scuba experience that speaks to each of us on a personal level. Combine your underwater interests, dive adventures and career by instructing divers PADI specialty courses, increase your fun while opening doors for better jobs and earning potential.

For me that has meant pursuing my interest in conservation and sharks. I have written and designed a PADI Distinctive Specialty course - Shark Diver. This course teaches divers about shark biology, ecology, identification and non-invasive interaction while diving in the company of sharks. This is a prerequisite to assist local biologists on the Roatan Shark Legacy Project.

I also certify Instructors in two other Distinctive Specialties; Whaleshark Awareness and Sea Turtle Awareness. In the Whaleshark course students learn about the gentle Whaleshark and how to assist biologists efforts by correctly photographing individual sharks for photo - ID. In the Sea Turtle Awareness program divers learn biology, ecology and to identify turtle species while diving with them in a responsible manner.
